At the very beginning of the month, we always feel the end of summer blues, but by the end of the month fall has won us over! This year has been no different. There’s something to be said about the beginning of fall up here in Northern Minnesota. The trees are bursting with colors, the temperature is still excellent, more ideal than summer on most days with that little bit of crisp air. It feels like the pace of life just gets more comfortable and manageable in general! There's something magical about watching the colors of the season reflected on the surface of Lake Winnie. If you’ve never spent the 4th of July on a lake before, you are REALLY missing out on boat parades! Lake Winnie comes alive with decked out displays of patriotism through boat parades. Decorated boats adorned with American flags and red, white, and blue decorations glide across the water, showcasing the community's pride and spirit for the good old USA!.
