“You can’t please everyone,” is a saying we’re ready to challenge. That’s why we offer a range of activities for everyone in the family. In the land of 10,000 lakes (11,842 to be specific), Lake Winnie is our personal favorite and we know it will be yours, too. Our beautiful, man-made lake is surrounded by scenic undeveloped shores and undisturbed nature. We truly believe everyone deserves a chance to spend time on Minnesota’s 5th largest lake. That’s why we offer free use of canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards to everyone that stays with us. A perfect way to keep the kiddos busy while you kick back with a cold one, snag that monster fish, or just enjoy the view. From the tweens to Grandpa, everyone will have something to do.

Boat/motor rentals are made available to not only make your life more enjoyable, but easier!  Thinking about exploring the lake on something a little bigger but you don’t have a boat? No problem. Torn between the hassle of hauling your boat and getting to see all of Lake Winnie? We’ve got you. Learn more about our Boat and Motor rentals! We won’t let anything hold you back. The warm months go by so fast, and we want you to feel the sun on your skin and be able to jump right in and enjoy the lake. Maybe, you want to feel the tug of a fishing pole in your hand and the excitement in your chest as you question what’s on the line. A Walleye? Perch? Perhaps, the biggest muskie you’ve ever seen? A story to tell forever. 

Want a break from the lake? You don’t even have to leave the resort to find something to do! Grab a cold drink, a book, and enjoy the sunning deck. Dip your toes or cannon ball right in our heated swimming pool! If you’re really adventurous, we might see you splash into the water from our waterslide! Maybe you prefer to stay dry, we got you covered there too! Take a visit to our lodge and enjoy a round of ping pong, pool, or a video game, who can resist? With the kids occupied, mom and dad can get some laundry done using our coin-operated machines, or enjoy some alone time, whatever sounds better. 

Forget loading up and hauling the camper. Ditch the thought of having to pitch a tent. We have fully furnished, air conditioned cabins for you to take full advantage.  For the days you just want to hang out inside, you don’t even have to leave for a meal. All cabins are equipped with a stove, microwave, pots, pans, dishes, a coffee maker–heck you don’t even have to bring the grill! We’ve got cabins for a romantic weekend for two, or cabins that sleep up to 12 people! Perfect for a trip away with friends or family, or even a wedding party home base! Everyone will enjoy the breath-taking lake view no matter where you are. If you are bringing a boat, we’ve got free dockage if you stay the week! No need for compromises at Northland Lodge.
